Techniques

From raw concrete to glass, metal, wood and solar panels: virtually any surface can be transformed into a sustainable and inspiring eye-catcher with the printing techniques of Modern Murals. Each design by Dominic Brown combines art, innovation and functionality.

01 · Wall print

Transform textured walls into works of art. This ultra-thin transfer film blends in perfectly with the surface, like a modern fresco, and is finished with an anti-graffiti coating.

02 · Solar print

Art and energy together: in collaboration with Dutch innovators, solar panels are printed so that facades become decorative and energy-generating.

03 · Glass print

For interior and exterior glass walls. The special film also offers branding opportunities, and with lighting from within, designs become even more visible.

04 · Plate print

New life for damaged walls: designs are glued to sturdy aluminium Dibond panels. Thanks to a protective coating, the panels are graffiti-resistant.

05 · Floor print

Flexible, PU-coated prints that are hard-wearing and safe to walk on – from corporate logos at entrances to creative outdoor routes.

06 · Tapestry print

Design and acoustic comfort in one: together with a Dutch carpet manufacturer we create wall hangings with colour, texture and sound absorption. Custom work for every project, including one-of-a-kind carpets and rugs.

Sustainable and easy to maintain

High-quality transfer film technology creates the effect of a modern fresco, where the image is not only aesthetically strong but also protects the surface against weather, pollution and wear. According to a report by ENCI, commissioned by BAM, the printing technique demonstrably makes concrete more resistant to weather influences and wear.

Anti-graffiti coating

Murals always get a protective anti-graffiti coating for a long-lasting result.

Colourfast

The prints are colourfast and give a long-lasting result.

Easy to maintain

Custom solutions for electricity cabinets, facades, viaducts and free-standing objects that last a long time.

Quick to realise

The solutions are quick to apply and affordable.

Innovation

Artwork printed on solar panels

Solar murals

Full colour artworks printed on solar panels, presented during an exhibition in Milan (2023). During the day the panels generate energy, which is used in the evening to illuminate the artwork itself.
